Street Art, Denver, Pikes Peak & Royal Gorge, Colorado
I went on a very short and very amazing trip to Colorado with
my brother, Roberto. Aside from getting to see Phil Lesh and Friends at Red Rocks,
which, in and of itself was a mind bender, we also got to see some sights.
Some pics are below.
The first five are from the top of Pike's Peak... 14,110 feet above sea level!
Nothing grows at that height, so I planted some flowers.
The next three pics are from Royal Gorge... the world's tallest suspension
bridge... it's 1,053 feet tall!
I figured a flower could grow there, too.
The width at the canyon bottom is no more than 40 to 50 feet, while the top
measures only a few hundred feet... it's solid granite bedrock.
If something or someone fell from the bridge, it would take 8 seconds
to hit the Arkansas River below.
The rest of the pics below are from various spots in the city of Denver.
