Street Art, Harlem, NYC, 2009
In August of 2009 I was invited by the Children's Aid Society to paint a giant flower on the side of their building
in Harlem, NYC. It was part of Hacia Afuera, an annual festival organized by the very good folks at Art For Change.
At one point during the installation, there were a large group of children beneath my ladder singing nursery rhymes...
it was one of my most memorable and favorite moments I've had while painting outdoors.
