Street Art, Les Baux de Provence, France, 2010
During our stay in Provence in 2010, we went to Les Baux by invitation of their mayor for me to install some flowers
in their medieval village. It was the first time their tiny mountain-top town had street art and I had the privilege
of installing on the walls of the Hotel de Manville. This structure is from the 16th Century and houses houses the mayor's
office. I hung the works in its intimate courtyard.
I have truly never seen a place quite like Les Baux before and it's beauty took my breath away. It was a true honor to
to be their guest and experience their heart of the Alpilles in a unique way.
If you find yourself in the South of France, I highly recommend a visit.
