Street Art Beginnings

When I first began to use the streets of New York as a canvas in around 1992, I used childlike imagery of
moons, minnows, flowers and safety pins. I cut the images out of FedEx cardboard to make
spray paint stencils. These images soon led to my single silk screened flower image and
eventually to paintings on found blueprint paper.
